A rainy autumn walk at Cootes Paradise Wetland in Hamilton. This is the very western corner of Lake Ontario, with a very diverse ecosystem. It is finally a protected space and after years of decline from pollution and humans in general, the area is starting to heal. The flora, fauna, and mother nature are making a comeback. It will be decades before the damage can be repaired, but it's a start.
